Ruth Kerckhoff's diaries recounted Susan Kerckhoff's marriage to John Mulligan on June 27, 1959; the death of her husband, Otto Alexander Kerchkhoff, whose family founded Pevely Farms, on April 21, 1966; and social outings, including her service as a matron at Veiled Prophet Ball in 1959. Other items of interest include a scrapbook documenting Susan Kerckhoff's experiences as a maid of honor for the Veiled Prophet Ball in 1956.

On June 7, 1975, the US District Court ordered that school districts in the St. Louis County municipalities of Berkeley, Ferguson-Florissant, and the predominantly African American Kinloch merged into a single district. This decision followed a government lawsuit in 1971, maintaining that the Kinloch schools perpetuated an all-African-American created in 1937. It also followed the 1972 Liddell v. Board of Education of St. Louis court decision on school desegregation. Judge James H. Meredith ordered the merger, which was upheld by the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. The collection contains newspaper clippings and reports chronicling the merger.

They also worked on the historic village at Faust Park, the Thomas Sappington House, and the Palm House in Tower Grove Park. The collection consists of architectural plans for properties the company worked on throughout its existence.

Labor for Peace was a voluntary organization of trade union leaders who joined together in 1972 to bring an end to the war in Vietnam. 985 delegates from 32 states and the District of Columbia attended the founding conference in St. Louis, Missouri, on June 23-24, 1972. The delegates represented 35 international unions and issued a statement of policy that outlined their perspective of the effects of the war on America. They demanded immediate withdrawal from Vietnam and a peace-oriented economy. The records include correspondence, memos, reports, a policy statement, and newspaper clippings.

Fran Landesman was an internationally recognized lyricist and poet, born in New York City in 1927. Through the 1950s, she lived in St. Louis, where she and her husband, Jay Landesman, operated the Crystal Palace Nightclub in Gaslight Square, producing avant-garde theater and bringing new talent to St. Louis. She died in London in 2011. The papers include correspondence, biographical materials, as well as reviews and articles about Fran. Also included in this collection are audiotapes, CDs, and LPs with demo tapes of music, lyrics, and performances by Landesman, as well as performances by her acquaintances.

The League of Women Voters evolved from the suffrage movement and was initiated to educate the voters of the United States. A non-partisan organization, the League has been involved in most of the political issues in St. Louis since the ratification of the nineteenth amendment. The collection includes correspondence, financial records, subject files, radio scripts, and publications relating to a wide variety of issues and personalities. Also included in the collection are photographs, films, audiotapes, and artifacts.
