About the Guest

Amy Laurel Fluker holds a PhD in History from the University of Mississippi. Presently, she serves as the Robert W. Reeder I Professor of nineteenth-century American history at Youngstown State University. Her book, Commonwealth of Compromise: Civil War Commemoration in Missouri, was published by the University of Missouri Press in 2020.
