African American Experience in Missouri Lecture Series
Explore Missouri's past and prepare for the future through the African American Experience in Missouri lecture series, designed to offer the community opportunities to reach a new understanding of present-day Missouri by learning about the history of African Americans within the state. -
Center for Missouri Studies Fellowships
The Center for Missouri Studies fellowship program seeks to promote and disseminate scholarship in underexplored areas of Missouri history and culture, including interdisciplinary study of the Show-Me State. Each fellowship carries a stipend of $5,000 for a project that results in the completion of a 6,000 to 8,000-word scholarly essay, exclusive of notes, on one of the topics selected each year. -
Missouri Conference on History
The Missouri Conference on History brings together teachers of history and other professional historians to share in the presentation of the results of research, to exchange information on teaching and curriculum, to consider ways to promote interest in history and the welfare of the profession, and to discuss other concerns common to all historians. All persons interested or involved in the teaching of history, historical research, historical preservation, or any other professional application of history are welcome. -
