Molly Sloan first came to SHSMO as an intern in January 2024 as part of the Fostering an Entrepreneurial Mindset program in digital humanities at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Eight months later, Sloan accepted a part-time archivist position with the Kansas City Research Center. Sloan is currently working through an accelerated bachelor/master's degree in history with emphasis on public history at UMKC.
