Ashley Weaver is from southeast Missouri and has a longstanding passion for historic preservation. Weaver recently completed a Master of Art in American History, with a focus on the Civil War and the American South. Her professional background includes work in regional history museums as a registrar and in collections management. Most recently, she assisted in the creation of a new archive space to house over 150 years of bound newspaper volumes at the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville & Christian County in Hopkinsville, KY.
