Brittney coordinates the event rental program at the Center for Missouri Studies. A native Missourian, Brittney received a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Central Missouri and a hospitality and tourism certificate from Florida Atlantic University. Her shared love for Missouri and travel led her to work in the state’s tourism industry after college where she found her passion for promoting the state as a top-of-mind travel destination. Brittney promoted Jefferson City as a travel destination, along with marketing the legendary decommissioned Missouri State Penitentiary as a film destination. When not coordinating events, Brittney enjoys spending her time recharging on the water (by boat or kayak), reading, or planning her next travel adventure with her husband.
