There’s much to explore in the SHSMO digital archives if you’re looking to learn about the lives of fascinating women who were born or made Missouri their home.
You can start with our helpful Women’s Experience Research Guide available 24/7 by logging onto SHSMO.org. Also, more digital material has been added to the National Women and Media Research Guide. You will also find the biographies and primary sources of Missourians who made important contributions to our state in the Missouri Encyclopedia and Historic Missourians website. Looking for photographs of women throughout history? Search for images in our digital photographs online.
