Early Bird registration ($55) ends Feb. 10. Standard registration ($65) is Feb. 11-24 and late registration (Feb. 25 and later) is $75. There is a student discount on registration fees.

Gary Kremer, executive director of the State Historical Society of Missouri, will be giving the keynote address on March 13 at noon. Kremer, who has been chronicling Missouri’s past in published works for more than a half-century, will talk about the history of the conference since it began in 1959. Programs on a wide range of Missouri-centered topics include veteran voices, labor, religion, transportation and innovation milestones, historic preservation, archeology, researching with newspapers and archives, and interpreting 19th century Missouri.

An evening reception March 13 at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum is planned for conference attendees. History prizes for books, articles, and student papers will also be awarded at the conference. Registration is open, along with the full schedule of events, on the State Historical Society of Missouri website: shsmo.org/mch.
