America at 250: A View from Australia, France, and Italy

As part of a yearlong celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy at the University of Missouri, along with its partner, the State Historical Society of Missouri, will host a series of lectures January through May that reflect on this national milestone from a global perspective. 

The January 30 lecture will feature Tamson Pietsch, Director of the Australian Centre for Public History at University of Technology Sydney, and Mario Del Pero, professor at the Centre for History at Paris’ SciencesPo. 

The program begins at 5 p.m. with a reception to follow. Seating will be available on a first-come basis. Arrive early to secure your spot. This series is free and open to the public. Please register, below, if you plan to attend.
