H. Riley Bock is a retired prosecuting attorney and actively involved in civic activities and farming in New Madrid. He is a past president of the State Historical Society of Missouri and has served as a trustee since 1984. Before retiring, Bock was a prosecuting attorney, assistant public defender and county administrator and also taught at New Madrid County Central High School. He continues to manage a family farm in Southeast Missouri.
