Transform the way students view history. Make a gift to support National History Day in Missouri!
Through the innovative National History Day in Missouri (NHDMO) educational program, administered by the State Historical Society of Missouri, students conduct extensive research on a historical topic that they choose and present findings their way by creating documentaries, exhibits, papers, performances, or websites. Thousands of students participate in the program each year, with nearly 3,000 competing at regional contests throughout Missouri and 500 advancing to the state contest, held at the University of Missouri in April. Top winners in each category earn the opportunity to serve as Missouri delegates to the national contest in College Park, Maryland in June.
Your support helps more students engage in creative, meaningful learning experiences that enable them to succeed in today's world.
"We loved our National History Day experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!" ~Emily S. & Renae C.
