Beth Pike
Beth Pike is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism. She has worked as a producer for national news and entertainment programs. Beth has also served as an adjunct professor and faculty editor at her alma mater, leading students abroad in five countries to work on journalism assignments. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Missouri Press Foundation. Before joining SHSMO, Beth co-owned a multimedia company, Orr Street Productions, which produced three EMMY-award winning documentaries, including Deadline in Disaster and Trustees for the Public – 200 Years of Missouri Newspapers for Missouri Press Association. Her Pike roots in Missouri began when a grandfather, five generations back, jumped off of a pirate’s ship on the Mississippi River at Hannibal and settled along the Salt River near Swinkey where the family’s century farm is still a gathering place for picnics and good times.
