The comprehensive campaign for the State Historical Society of Missouri will secure the second century of the organization with a state-of-the-art facility and permanently endowed funds benefiting research centers across the state.
America has a richly woven history that is wholly distinct in the world, and Missouri is at its heart. The State Historical Society of Missouri has been entrusted to collect, preserve, and share our state's history since 1898, giving a voice to the people who helped build this country—the explorers, the settlers, the enslaved, the immigrants, the free blacks, and the men and women who opened the West.
A source of wonder, discovery, and inspiration for us all, SHSMO's paintings, photographs, newspapers, maps, and written records are relics of the past that breathe life into our story. They provide experiences connecting us to our history and our place in the world that reach beyond the Society's six research centers throughout the state.
Let's make history together. Give today!
