    William Foley

    William Foley holds a PhD in History from the University of Missouri. He is Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Central Missouri. He is the author of several books, including The First Chouteaus, River Barons of Early St. Louis, The Genesis of Missouri: From Wilderness Outpost to Statehood, Missouri: Then and Now, and Wilderness Journey: The Life of William Clark.
