SHSMO-KC Reopens and New Hours at the Center for Missouri Studies

SHSMO-Kansas City Now in UMKC Miller Nichols Library!

The SHSMO Kansas City Research Center reopens on Tuesday, August 24, in its new location on the third floor of UMKC Miller Nichols Library! Expanding its space to 5,100 square feet, SHSMO-KC's new location allows us to store more Kansas City collections on-site and provides an open and inviting space for researchers and patrons. Appointments are required to access materials. Make an appointment to visit from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, and see this beautiful new space!

Funding for the new facility was generously provided by the Sunderland Foundation, William T. Kemper Foundation, Miller Nichols Charitable Foundation, and Steve and Marianne Noll.
