Thank you for being a part of the State Historical Society of Missouri community. It is part of our mission to provide Missourians will high-quality events that explore Missouri history and Missourians' unique contribution to history and culture.
Concerns over the spread of COVID-19 have led to the suspension of travel, events, or coursework on several of the campuses where SHSMO is located.
In coordination with our campus partners, and out of an abundance of caution, March events hosted at the Center for Missouri Studies in Columbia have been postponed. These include:
March 14 - Missouri Women: Suffrage to Statecraft Opening Reception
March 14 - March Bookstore Pop-Up
March 18 - Children's Storytime
March 20 - Music in Missouri Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon
March 27 - Preserving Historical Documents Workshop
The availability of Speakers Bureau events will be decided by their host organizations, and we encourage you to check with the event host before attending.
Updates to events, including new dates, will be posted on the SHSMO event calendar, as they are available.
At this time, the Center for Missouri Studies in Columbia and SHSMO Research Centers across the state remain open for their regular hours.
Thank you for your support.
