Missouri Students Bring Home Medals at National History Day

Sixty-four Missouri student delegates recently returned from the National History Day contest in College Park, MD. At the awards ceremony, three projects were awarded bronze medals, two teams received outstanding entry awards, and a number of students were finalists in their category. 

Bronze Medalists

Junior Individual Documentary: Josef Schuller (Joplin, MO)- “The Bridge Over Funchilin Pass: The Only Option for Retreat”
 
Junior Group Documentary: Alizeh Hammad and Sania Hammad (Joplin, MO)- “Deeds Not Words: The Tragedy Suffered and the Triumph Secured by the British Suffragettes”
  
Senior Individual Performance: Aubrey Chrisenbery (Joplin, MO)- “A Blessing or a Curse?: The Triumph and Tragedy of Thalidomide”
