#GivingTuesday is an international day of philanthropy. Falling on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, it begins a period of charitable giving at the start of the holiday season.
Today, on #GivingTuesday, we invite you to support document conservation with a gift to the State Historical Society of Missouri's #GivingTuesday campaign.
The treasured manuscripts, letters, postcards, drawings, books, maps, and more collected by the Society often need to be stabilized to ensure their availability now and for generations to come. Conservation has both an immediate and lasting impact, securing the accessibility of Missouri history today and for the future.
To help fund the conservation efforts of the Society, SHSMO has set a goal to raise $5,000 on #GivingTuesday. A $2,000 challenge gift has been committed! Will you meet the challenge?
What will you help preserve?
Be part of #GivingTuesday with us today! Like and follow SHSMO on social media for behind-the-scenes details about past conservation treatments and those to come. Make a gift in support of the Society's efforts to preserve and share Missouri’s legacy.
Finally, use social media to share your commitment to document conservation and invite those you know to do so as well!
