State Historical Society of Missouri National Women and Media Collection - Southwest Missouri Edition

The National Women and Media Collection begins its 36th year of its founding at the State Historical Society of Missouri. The SHSMO Springfield Research Center has created the “Celebrating the National Women in Media Collection: Southwest Missouri Edition” exhibit, which is on display at the Library Station in Springfield through May. In addition, a panel discussion featuring journalists and media professionals in Southwest Missouri will be held at the library on March 30. Panelists will talk about the changing roles for women in the media industry; trends for the future; and how they were able to navigate careers in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
