This exhibit is available Friday from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm two in locations: the Jesse Hall Rotunda and University of Missouri School of Engineering VR Lab in Lafferre Hall.
Designed by University of Missouri engineering students, this interactive virtual reality art exhibition offers an opportunity to explore ninety-eight paintings that comprise the Scruggs-Vandervoort-Barney Collection from the University of Missouri Museum of Art and Archaeology. Commissioned in the 1940s by owners of St. Louis department store Vandervoort’s, the collection highlights agricultural, industrial, and recreational activities across the state.
