The Missouri Humanities Council is hosting a digitization event at Wesley United Methodist Church in Jefferson City on Saturday, February 8, 2020. The event is free, but registration is required. Attendees are encouraged to bring artifacts related to their family's German heritage to be digitized. Additionally, Missouri Humanities Council and State Historical Society of Missouri Oral Historian Sean Rost will be on hand to record audio conversations with attendees about the artifacts and their family history. The audio interviews will be preserved in SHSMO's Missouri German Heritage Corridor Oral History Project [C4354].
